MICROSOFT OFFICE ‘97 WORD
Intermediate
Taught by Glenn Ohanesian

Class ID # GO-03

Microsoft Office ‘97, Word, is a full featured word processor that is part of the MS Office ‘97 Suite which has several parts. It is very similar in operation to the MS Works Word Processor. However, there are many enhancements that increase its sophistication, e.g., simultaneous spell and grammar checking, automatic saves, document numbering for manuscripts or legal work, and its ability to create tables, or accept tabular input from Excel, or MS Works spreadsheets. There are too many features to enumerate here. Very few people will ever need a word processor more sophisticated than this. Upon completion of this lecture the student will be familiar enough with the basics of the program that he, or she, will be able to begin working with the program to produce a satisfactory document and, based on what they have learned, begin developing their own skills.
