Vista Backup
Taught by Dick Gaddis
Class ID: DG07

Even thought Vista does not have the “GREATEST BACKUP SYSTEM” and it leaves a lot to be desired because it is not real flexible and does not offer you a lot of options.  But, it is a BACKUP program and for those of us that have a MINIMUM DATE to backup, such as Email addresses, Financial Data and Pictures, it will do EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED

Our class will provide you with the KEY STROKES to do a Vista Data Backup.  At this time we will not include the RESTORE functions using the Vista Backup, but we will review the basic procedures to create a Restore Point.  It is very important to do a Restore Point prior to any MAJOR CHANGES to your computer.

If you need help in restoring a prior Restore Point or Restoring Data from a prior Vista Backup please contact the Timber Pines Computer Club for a One on One contact.

At this Class we will also include an Video show some of the various Commercial Backup systems and Storage Methods including their advantages and disadvantages.
