The Windows Desktop
Taught by: Bud Johnson When your computer completes the "boot-up" process, the screen presented to you is called the "Desktop", and displays many little icons representing programs and utilities residing on your hard drive and within the WINDOWS operating system. In this class, you will learn about those icons and the nature of your computer, be it desktop model or laptop. We will cover topics such as the taskbar, disk drives, the Recycle Bin, Control Panel, the Calculator, the Keyboard, and much more. If you're interested in becoming more familiar with your computer with just about any recent version of Windows, this class is for you. Bud |
